Sweet girl happily asleep
Warm and cosy
As she cuddles her teddy close
Innocent face of a peaceful girl’s sleep
Slowly she turns over,
Stretching her arms unaware,
Outside the gentle breeze rustles the leaves
And the sweet girl sleeps on
With the safe silence all around
This one girls dreams
About her favourite toy
And her very best friend.
Unaware the sun is risen
She lays warm in her bed
As the morning smell of dew
Fills the sunlit room
Slowly the sweet girl’s eye
Flutter open ever so lightly
And she looks around her peaceful room
Ready to take on another day.

i actually had to write this for english, froma stimulus whihc was a black and white photo of a 7 year old girl alseep with toys all round her.
anyway i was really happy with the outcome |
